Why is it that so many arts organizations claiming to “support the arts” never seem to have any “support” for the artists? Don Draper offers us some advice on how to negotiate with arts organizations.

The Joydick is going to be demonstrated at Arse Electronika 2009 and we are seeking one brave man and one brave woman to demonstrate video game play during the opening night ceremony. Actual “game play” will be hidden from the audience by a screen. And yes, we said woman!
Here is a small sneak peak of the yet unnamed (and unfinished) wearable female Atari controller. Full details and DIY instructions coming soon! Participants must live in the San Francisco bay area, must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide a valid US passport and must be comfortable being filmed for archival purposes. How To Fetch An Artist From Freiburg (City A) To An Exhibition In Paris (City B) For No Costs
Welcome back to the 3rd episode of our series “How to fetch (x) from city A to city B for no costs” Last episodes covered the transport of art works via Train and Airplane. This time we’ll show you how-to get an artist to an exhibition opening for free.
Step 1: Buy a train ticket and step into the desired train at city A Step 2: Unpack some belongings, put on headphones and fall asleep immediatly Step 3: When the ticket guy stops by, keep sleeping or act like you’ve been in this train for hours already. Don’t show your ticket. He will remember you from now on and never ask again. Step 4: Arrive at city B and enjoy cartier champagne at the exhibition opening. Return your unused ticket online or go to the next train station afterwards.

Start labeling your latest work with the official Speed Project stamp. Check the amount of time you needed for full production time inculding online publication. A Speed Project may not take longer than 8h max. Adding up time fragments is not allowed, once you started the clock is running (skip lunch or better do a project during lunchtime ;-) Download the template now and release something today! Be fast!
